This year is the ninth edition of Beefeater In-Edit to be held in Barcelona and it’s worth casting our eyes back and confirming the place that’s been made for music documentaries in this country. And this isn’t just because over the years, beyond the festival’s international development (this year marks the 24th inauguration of an In-Edit festival somewhere around the world), the genre has confirmed its growth, standardizing its existence on TV in many countries, generating new cinematic events in the world and gaining ground in the most traditional sector: the film festivals.
