4) La Central: culture, the humanities and calm in the heart of the city

La Central was born in Barcelona in 1995 as a bookshop project with a strong cultural calling—one of those places that invites you to stay a little longer. It’s ideal for losing track of time among beautifully curated sections, especially if you’re drawn to the humanities, art and ideas. From Hotel Regina, it’s a 20–30 minute walk to the Raval neighbourhood—a pleasant stroll across the city, best enjoyed at a relaxed pace and with curious eyes.

We’ll be joined by author Luna Miguel, who will be in conversation about her book, and by Nika Shevela, sommelier, who will present a selection of wines thoughtfully chosen to accompany the talk.
